PARADISO

This project was created for a design challenge hosted by Let's Brief on Instagram.

“Amidst the labyrinth streets of Venice and the romantic whispers of the canals, there emerged a culinary sanctuary known as Paradiso. Founded by Lorenzo and inspired by his grandmother’s recipes, their menu boasts an array of delectable pizzas, featuring thin, crispy crusts absorbed with savory toppings and bubbling cheese.”

With the name Paradiso and the location of Venice, I felt this brand needed a heavenly identity. I used a bold red to represent the romance of Venice and a white and cream color to represent the brightness and softness of Heaven. Red, green and white were also used to represent Italy.

The mascot is a smiling, pizza angel to show warmth and to let customers know that this is a family owned and family welcoming restaurant.

I also incorporated a simplified recreation of Michelangelo’s "Creation of Adam" on the pizza box, showing two hands reaching out from Heaven and Earth to get this heavenly slice of pizza.
